'Planes with dollars' yet to reach Belarus
'The airplanes with foreign currency' are approaching Belarus, National Bank told Euroradio.
Foreign currency will appear in currency exchange offices soon, deputy head of the National Bank Taras Nadolny said on December 19.
However, the situation has not changed so far: there are no dollars in foreign currency exchange offices today, on December 22.
“It is not forbidden to sell foreign currency. As soon as it arrives, it will be sent to the banks. No new information has been reported yet,” the press service of the National Bank informs.
By the way, there was no foreign currency for sale in the Belagoprom currency exchange office visited by Euroradio on Monday morning. Only the foreign currency sold by other people could be bought.
