In the first four months of 2026, deliveries from Belarus to the occupied territories of Ukraine exceeded the total volume for the entire year of 2025. This was noted by the Belarusian Railway Community.
As the railway workers point out, in 2024 supplies flowed primarily from the occupied regions of Ukraine to Belarus.
Last year, traffic became two-way. According to the results of 2025, 911 wagons of cargo with a total weight of 57,319 tonnes were brought into Belarus from the occupied territories of Ukraine. In the opposite direction, 470 wagons with a total weight of 26,392 tonnes were sent.
In the first four months of 2026 (January–April), only 67 wagons of cargo with a total weight of 3,808 tonnes were delivered to Belarus. However, from our country to the occupied Ukrainian territories, 573 wagons with a total weight of 31,519 tonnes were exported. Thus, this year, over the course of four months, freight deliveries from Belarus have grown significantly.
The bulk of Belarusian exports consisted of petroleum products, cement, reinforced concrete products, building materials, and other goods. Railway workers also note that the volumes of gasoline, diesel fuel, and liquefied hydrocarbon gases have increased.
