EU lifts sanctions from companies owned by Uladzimir Peftsiyeu
The European Union removes the companies owned by the Belarusian businessman Uladzimir Peftsiyeu from the black list, but keeps him on as a person.
The EU official journal published the updated variant of Belarusian 'black list' on October 30. It contains 232 persons and 25 companies.
The day before it became known that the European Union had prolonged the sanctions against the Belarusian officials for a year. The Council of the EU took the corresponding decision on October 29.
According to BelaPAN, the compaines owned by Uladzimir Peftsiyeu, namely, 'Delovaya Set' LLP, CJSC 'Systems of Investments and Innovations', private unitary enterprise 'Sen-Ko', private unitary enterprise 'BT Invest', 'Technosoyzpribor', have been crossed out of the EU 'black list', which means no more sanctions are applied against them. However, Peftsiyeu is still on the list as a person.
