Great Britain concerned about destinies of Sannikau and Dashkevich
On September 28, British Minister for Europe David Lidington made a statement on Belarusian political prisoners.
It is said in the statement that Great Britain is deeply concerned with the way the imprisoned ex-presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau and the "Young Front" leader Zmitser Dashkevich are treated. The authorities of this country have information that the lives of these two politicians are under threat.
Thus, Great Britain once again urged the official Minsk to release all political prisoners and to stop their criminal persecution, BelaPAN reports.
