Increase in prices becomes 1.5 times faster in Belarus

The price surge was only 0.8% in August, 0.9% in July, 1.2% in June, 2.2% in May, BelaPAN reports. The prices have gone up by 13.4% since the beginning of the year.

The prices of vegetables went up by 10.1% in September, fruit – 4% and tea – for 2.4%. Potatoes became cheaper by 8.5%, macaroni – by 0.7%, flower – by 0.2% and eggs – by 0.1%.  

Fuel went up by 4.2%, medicines – by 3.7% and stationery - by 1.3%. The prices for carpets went down by 0.2%.
