Kuchma announces new terms of contact group meeting in Minsk
The negotiations will start only if Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitski who signed Minsk agreements in September 2014 attend them.
The presence of the leaders of the self-declared republics Alexander Zakharchenko and Igor Plotnitski is needed for the negotiations to continue. Ukraine’s second President Leanid Kuchma has announced the meeting terms, tvc.ru reports. The contact group sent an invitation to Minsk on Friday. It was sent to the DPR and LPR leaders.
Zakharchenko and Plotnitski signed the agreement in Minsk in September 2014, he reminded. Negotiations with other people were inconclusive because they were not authorized to make decisions, the ex-President of Ukraine claimed.
