BYN 42 million (a little less than 20 million US dollars) will be allocated this year to the state extra-budgetary fund of the Communications and Informatization Ministry. Decree No. 6 authorizing the assistance was signed on January 8 by Alyaksandr Lukashenka, the National Legal Internet Portal reports.

This money will be spent on the implementation of the State Program for the Development of the Digital Economy and the Information Society. In particular, it will be used in three subprograms: "Information and Communication Infrastructure" (BYN 10.4 million), "Informatization Infrastructure" (BYN 4,647,300) and "Digital Transformation" (BYN26,952,700).

The money will be distributed between the Ministries of Communications, Education, Interior, Health, Investigation and Customs Committee, as well as some other bodies.

The Ministry of Education is in second place: it will get about BYN 9.4 million Belarusian rubles.
