Military chopper overturns near Mazyr (map)
A military helicopter overturned 6 km north-west of the city of Mazyr during training flights. According to the press service of the Defense Ministry, the incident took place on April 25 at 16:20.
Helicopter MI-24, part of the 50th Composite Air Force Base and the Air Defence Forces of the Armed Forces, carried out a planned landing outside the airport.
It is reported that the helicopter crew are alive. The landing area is intact.
The Ministry of Defence has appointed a commission that will determine the causes of the accident.
