NATO warns Moldova about possible Russian aggression

NATO has warned Moldova about the possibility of Russian military aggression. Russian troops are based in Transnistria ‘to prevent Moldova from establishing closer relations with the West’, Supreme Allied Commander Europe Philip Breedlove told in the U.S. Congress.
“Moscow has launched a wide propaganda campaign in Moldova and other regions,” AFP quotes the Commander.
The conflict between Kiev and separatists actively supported by Russia may continue, Breedlove said. “I do not think that anyone can say that Putin has reached all his goals in Ukraine,” the Commander explained.
