One of suspected terrorists surrenders in France
The person suspected of a mass murder committed in Paris has surrendered. The photos of the other two suspects have been distributed.
The French police have revealed the names of three people suspected of the terrorist act in Paris. They are aged 18, 32 and 34, Liberation reports. The suspects were looked for in three spots in Reims (150 km away from Paris) and in Charleville-Mézières (near the Belgian border). The suspects are two men aged 32 and 24 – brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi and 18-year-old Hamid Murad. The latter has surrendered to the police. The brothers are still wanted. They are armed and dangerous, mass media report.
Three armed men attacked the office of the satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo on January 7. 12 people including 8 journalists and 2 policemen were killed.
The suspects are French Algerians, unofficial sources report. Two of them are said to have visited Syria last year.
Mourning has been announced in France.
