The participants of unauthorized Chranobyl March are receiving reports from the police, economist Syarhei Chaly said.
“A mass action. They are comforting us,” Chaly wrote on Facebook. The action was cancelled and only about 100 people decided to take part in the unauthorized rally.
According to the report made by Lt. Vital Ivanavich Tarluyuk, Chaly participated in a mass rally and walked along Surhanau and Arlouskaya Streets to the memory sign “To Victims of Chernobyl”. It is also indicated that the economist is unemployed and that he received secondary education.
Several dozens of people joined the traditional Chernobyl March rally on April 26. The authorized action had been cancelled – the opposition had withdrawn their application for the action from Minsk City Executive Committee because they could not afford paying for the police services.
