Belarus president receives National Bank chairwoman Nadzeya Yermakova with report on the situation in the financial market and banking sector
Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated a decrease in the inflation rate and promised to strengthen control over the government and the National Bank as regards the increase of prices.
He drew attention to “the difficult financial and economic situation in the world” influencing “the dynamics of Belarus’ foreign trade”: “Russia has subsided a bit and the EU is in fever. That is why we should look for new markets,” BELTA quotes Alyaksandr Lukashenka.
