Russia to forget solvents scandal in exchange for MAZ and Grodno-Azot?
If Minsk agrees to create joint enterprises, Moscow will sign the oil balance for 2013.
Interfax.by has informed about it referring to a source close to the Russian-Belarusian negotiations. However, Russia does not expect any serious breakthrough in the negotiations with Belarus even at the meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State on Friday.
Russia suffered a huge loss in the solvents problem, a Moscow source reports. Russia understands that it will not get any money from Belarus , the point is that Belarus should be more complaisant in negations about joint enterprises.
The annual oil supplies contract has not been signed so far. Belarus expects to get 23 million tons. Russia has agreed to supply only 18.5 million tons.
