Three medal winners to return to Minsk from Rio on August 18
Three Olympic medal winners will return from Rio de Janeiro to Minsk on August 18. Luftganza will bring weightlifter Vadzim Straltsou and Darya Navumava (silver medals) and Greco-Roman wrestler Javid Hamzatau (bronze medal) from Frankfurt to Minsk at 8.25 p.m.
The rowing, boxing, sailing and weightlifting teams will also arrive in Minsk, the NOC website reports.
Belarus is in the 37th position in the Olympic medal rankings now. Our country has 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze medal. The United States national team is leading with 30 gold medals.
