Victoria Azarenka heads to US Open quarters
The Belarusian has defeated 17-year-old Serbian Aleksandra Krunić in the 1/8 final – 4:6, 6:4, 6:4.
Despite being the World No. 17, Azarenka had a very difficult time trying to defeat Krunić (143) and the match took more than 2 hours.
The Belarusian tennis player will compete with Russian Yekaterina Makarova in the US Open quarters. Makarova is the World No. 18.
