Bialthlon: 5 Belarusians to take part in World Championship sprint
Five Belarusians will participate in the World Biathlon Cup sprint on Thursday, March 17. The championship will be held in Khanty-Mansiysk. Darya Yurkevich (start number 21), Iryna Kryuko (36), Nadzeya Skardzina (45), Anastasiya Diberezava (55) and Krystsina Ilchanka (79) will take part in the sprint. The race will be broadcast live on Belarus-5 at 4.05 p.m.
Belarusian biathletes have not won any medals at the World Cup and world champion without Darya Domracheva during the season. Belarusians are in the 10th position in the Nations Cup. Gabriela Soukalová of the Czech Republic (1039 points) and Marie Dorin Habert of France are competing for the Crystal Globe this year. Frenchman Martin Fourcade has already won it.
