Activist detained near Russian Embassy stand trial in Minsk
Homel civil activists Dzmitry Karashkou and Stanislau Bula approached the Embassy with posters yesterday.
The posters had the following inscriptions on them: Putin – Ukraine and Russia’s enemy and Putin, hands off Ukraine, no to war!
The activists were detained. Minsk Central District Court punished them for “violating the rules of organization of mass evens or pickets”. Stanislau Bula was jailed for 11 days and Dzmitry Karashkou – for 15 (it is his second detention this year), BelaPAN reports.
