Lukashenka: Our main challenge is economy
Belarus will overcome economic problems and will preserve peace in the country, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said during his visit to Minsk Automobile Plant on April 7.
There will be peace and quiet in Belarus, the President guaranteed. “Do not worry about war. Our main problem is economy. If we survive this hard time (and we will sooner or later), we will not be afraid of anyone. We will overcome it, we are strong,” BELTA quotes Lukashenka.
The state is not going to wage war on anyone or attack anyone, the Belarusian leader said. However, Belarus is not going to make anyone wage war on it either. Nevertheless, the country has modernised its armed forces and is ready to react to any threat, he added.
