On July 1, Andrei Haidukou was sentenced to 1.5 years in jail for an attempt to establish contacts with a foreign intelligence without treason.
The civil activist from Novapolatsk got 1,5 years of imprisonment in a minimum security penal colony.
The appeal will be sent to the Supreme Court at the end of the next week.
