An apartment in 5 Rumiancava Street near Victory Square in Minsk was sold in August for the record $1.3 million, reports nn.by.
The house is not a sky-craper, a home to only four apartments.
The apartment has nearly 250 sq.m. and a spot in the in-house parking area.
This is the record price paid for a housing property in Minsk over the past three years. A bigger amount was paid five years ago for another apartment in the same house. It went for $1.448 million in September 2014 but had more space - 360 sq. m.
According to nn.by, the buyer is a 50-year-old citizen of Russia. The apartment belonged previously to a 47-year-old Russian woman with the same family name.
