Belarus buys four S300PS complexes from Russia
ONT reported it in the programme Our News. The surface-to-air missile systems S300 PS started being in the USSR in 1983. Technically, they are a bit worse than S300PMU.
These are not the first systems of the kind used by the Belarusian Army. Belarus has one brigade consisting of S300V and one brigade and two regiments of S300 PS. 4 divisions of S300 PS were delivered to Belarus from Russia to pay for the MZKTS-79221 for missile complexes RS-12M1 ‘Tapolya-M’ in 2005-2006.
The price that Belarus has paid for the surface-to-air missile systems is unknown.
