Belarusians’ real income 5.7% down
The real income has decreased by 5.7% in January 2016, BelaPAN reports quoting the National Statistics Committee.
The real income is the income after all the taxes and bills are paid. It corresponds to the index of the consumer prices.
By the way, peoples’ income has been decreasing since the beginning of 2015: by 2.55 in January 2015, 3.8% - in January-March 2015, 4.8% - in January-April, 5% - in January-May, 4.9% in January-June, 5.1% in January-July, 5.3% in January-August, 5.4% in January –September and in January-October, 5.6% in January-October, 5.65 in January-November and 5.9% - in January-December.
The real income of the population will decrease by 1.5% in the first quarter of 2016 and will remain at the last year’s level in the first six month of 2016, the Ministry of Economy expects. The real income is supposed to increase by 0.1% in the first nine month of the year and by 0.55 at the end of 2016.
