Berlin negotiations on Ukraine took 8 hours
The negotiations were complicated but the result is ‘tangible’, the Ukrainian MFA notes.
Closed negotiations between Ukrainian, Russian, French and German Foreign Ministers have finished in Germany. The preparation for the Norman meeting in Minsk on February 11 was discussed there. Petro Poroshenko, Vladimir Putin, François Hollande and Angela Merkel are expected to arrive in Minsk.
The negotiations took 8 hours, UNIAN refers to Ukrainian Ambassador to Germany Andrei Melnik. The negotiations were complicated but the result is ‘tangible’ for the meeting of ‘the Norman Four’ in Minsk, the diplomat said.
According to Melnik, German Foreign Minister Steinmayer does not exclude that Europe will discuss arms supplies to Ukraine if the negotiations in Minsk bring no result, RBK-Ukraine reports.
