Football: Belarus rises 28 positions in FIFA rankings
Belarusian national football team has risen 28 positions in the FIFA rankings, with Cyprus showing the best result in the first hundred - 38 lines up just within one month. FIFA updated its rankings on Thursday, November 5th. Now the team coached by Aliaksandr Khatskevich (pictured) is in the 70th place with 479 points.
In October, our team played the last qualifying matches of the Euro 2016: we defeated the visiting team of Slovakia 1-0 and had a draw at home with Macedonia 0-0.
The national team of Belgium is at the top of the rating with 1,440 points, the second place is occupied by Germany with 1,388. Argentina is third with 1,383 points.
