Lukashenka cancels his own decree on Customs Union technical regulations
Self-employed entrepreneurs and legal persons get three-month deferral from Customs Union regulations.
The presidential decree on technical regulations has been postponed until June 1. The decision was pronounced in decree #90 of February 20. It means that the previous decree was in force for less than a week, TUT.BY notes.
The previous decree was aimed at sticking to the technical regulations of the Customs Union, EaEC and increasing the efficiency of products safety and quality control.
Administrative responsibility for legal entities and private entrepreneurs for violating the Customs Union and EaEC technical regulations was supposed to be introduced.
For instance, a fine for selling products not corresponding to the Customs Union and EaEC technical regulations was supposed to reach 20-50 base amounts. Private entrepreneurs and legal entities had to pay 100% of the money received for the products (but not less than 200 base amounts).
The fine for selling products without Customs Union and EaEC certificates was supposed to be 20-50 base amounts. Private entrepreneurs and legal entities had to pay 200% of the money received for the products (but not less than 200 base amounts).
