Lukashenka: I was ready to use our forces in Donbas
Belarusian leader reveals some details of his plan to resolve the conflict in Ukraine.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka, answering the question of RBC, said he wanted to use the Belarusian armed forces in order to "separate the sides."
"Right now there is a mess ... Sending there troops now is risky. Today there are forces who do not obey anyone. There are forces created by the oligarchs. Previously it was not seen. I was ready then. My minister immediately went to the West with my proposals. But they did not accept them ... They did not need my plan. And I put up my head," said Lukashenka.
Earlier, Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that he offered the West a peace plan to resolve the situation in Donbas. However, it was not accepted either by the West or Russia.
