About 250 masked young people demolished Lenin monument in Bessarabska Square in Kyiv. They put a wire rope on the trees, attached them to the monument and pulled it down. The crowd around the monument cheered and sang the national anthem, informs zn.ua. A criminal case has been started upon the fact.
A week ago the protesters already made an attempt to bring the monument down, but Berkut fighters managed to force them off the monument.
