MFA: Date of Ukraine contact group negotiations not yet set
Next Minsk meeting could be held in Ukraine on January 16.
Negotiators have not been turned to the Belarusian Foreign Ministry with a request for a meeting on a particular day.
This was announced by the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry of Belarus, Dzmitry Mironchyk.
Mironchyk: "So far, the Belarusian side has not received a joint proposal from the talk participants. But if we receive such a proposal, we are ready to do everything necessary to arrange the proper conditions for the next meeting of the contact group in Minsk."
He declined to elaborate, from whom exactly this "consolidated proposal" indicating the exact date of the talks should come. "Let's not go into these technical, but rather important details of the negotiation process - let it remain for your audience an unknown part of diplomatic technique," says Mironchyk.
The information that the next meeting of the contact group to resolve the conflict in the Donbass can be held on January 16 in Minsk came from the authorized representative of the self-proclaimed PRD contact group Dzyanis Pushylin. According to him, they received a letter with an appropriate proposal from the OSCE.
