Extra-ordinary parliamentary election takes place in Latvia
The so-called "Russian" party "Center of Concent" may win.
Ex-President of the country Valdis Zalters has become the first state leader who used the constitutional right and dissolved the Parliament on May 28. On June 23, citizens of Latvia supported the ex-President's decision at the referendum. According to public opinion polls, the so-called "Russian" party "Center of Concent" may win. The experts, nevertheless, doubt that this will give the party an opportunity to form a coalition thus obtaining the real power in the country, ВВС informs.
