Radiation level increased at Japanese NPP and is decreasing now
The reason for it could be the fact that the cover of the third reactor was damaged and radiation was emitted with vapour.
The radiation level at the Japanese NPP Fukushima 1 increased greatly but it started dropping about an hour later, said Yukio Edano, the chief cabinet secretary of the Japanese government.
"The reason for it could be the fact that the cover of the third reactor was damaged and radiation was emitted with vapour. It is just a probability. This is not our final conclusion”, - informed Edano.
At the same time he claimed that there were no plans to expand the evacuation zone, reports RIA Novosti.
