Six-year-old “silent protester” detained in Navapolatsk
Alyaksandr Hrudnitski, an inhabitant of the city, was walking with his little son in the city park not far from the square where participants
of the silent protest had gathered.
Policemen started dragging people out of the crowd when they were leaving. Upon noticing it, Alyaksandr tried to stand up for them. As a result, he was pushed into a police car with his son and delivered to the City Department of the Interior, informs the human rights centre “Vyasna”.
The six-year-old boy was given to his mother later. And the father will stand trial for participation in an unauthorized action today. By the way, policemen threatened to send the boy to a social asylum. They gave his mother only 15 minutes to arrive and take him away.
