"Tell the Truth" and "For Freedom" greet Statkevich with picket (photo)
The organizations have held a joint picket offering passers-by to congratulate the political prisoner.
The organizers did not limit themselves to Statkevich who turned 56 on August 12 – they suggested supporting any political prisoner by sending telegrams. All the participants of the picket were ready to allow to use their personal phones for it.
Visitors of "Kamarouski" market were not simply passing by - the majority were stopping near the picket.
They did not do without a teddy bear either. It was holding balloons with the names of political prisoners.
The other picket did not attract so many people. Signatures in support of the chief physician of a local polyclinic were being collected there.
Sometimes the organizers of the picket had a hard time trying to protect themselves from adherents of the official policy.
Mihail Pashkevich and Andrei Dzmitryyeu urged to congratulate Statkevich with the help of a loudspeaker.

Dzmitryyeu is arguing with a pensioner. Having found out that he had been in Independence Square on December 19, 2010, the woman called Dzimtryyeu "a scumbag" and left.
