Seamers of KIM factory in Vitsebsk go on strike again
Workers of the sewing workshop of the factory went on strike on September 25.
According to Vitsebsk People's News, shift A stopped work for 3 hours while shift B abandoned the whole working day. The people were outraged by the fact that they got only Br 250 thousand despite the wage arrears for two months.
According to one of the seamers, the factory's General Director was in Russia at the moment of the strike. The Chief engineer and the lawyer talked to the strikers. The lawyer tried to convince the seamers that they violated the Labour Code.
On September 10-11 there were also strikes at the factory. They were connected with a long delay of salaries at the KIM factory.
It is unknown whether the seamers will work or continue their strike on September 26.
