Stalin's portraits in Minsk center: pictures
On November 7, Belarus officially marks the Day of October Revolution. In 1917, a state coup d'etat took place in the Russian city of St Petersburg when Bolsheviks took power, began the 'red terror' and triggered a civil war in Russia.
A festive event was held today in the center of the Belarusian capital city, with many Soviet flags and the protraits of red dictators Lenin and Stalin involved in the action.
