TBM plants flowers in Mahilyou (photo)
Activists of the Belarusian Language Society (TBM) have been organizing such actions for two years.
TBM members planted flowers near the Catholic church of St. Stanislaus on May 13.
It was not the first action of the kind. TBM activists planted a few rose bushes near the City Hall in Glory Square last year. Only one has survived until now. Two bushes were destroyed by a rescuers’ machine and one got stolen. The greenery service removed three more bushes before May 9.
TMB members are hoping that the flowers near the Catholic Church will gladden the eye for a long time.
