WHO: EVD to keep spreading in Europe (video)
Virologist Peter Piot, representative of the World Health Organization, has announced it.
The number of infected medics will keep increasing despite the access to the modern healthcare system in the USA and Europe, he believes.
Piot is not surprised at the fact that a Spanish nurse got infected with Ebola. He expects to hear more EVD reports in Europe and the USA but he does not think that the disease will be spearing as fast as in West Africa.
A Spanish nurse was the first person infected outside West Africa. She had been treating two Spanish missioners who died of the virus later. About 3400 people have died of Ebola this year. Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia have suffered most, BBC reports.
