World Bank: Belarus' GDP to start growing in 2017
The Belarusian Gross Domestic Product will start growing in 2017, the World Bank experts think. They are predicting a decrease by 0.5% this year. The Belarusian GPD will start growing by 1% a year in 2017 and 2018, BELTA reports.
If the decrease in the oil prices becomes slower or the prices stabilize, the situation in the Eastern European countries may improve even in 2016.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka signed a decree on Belarus’ social and economic development for 2016 in December 2015, Euroradio reported. The GDP must total at least 100.3% in comparison with 2015.
