WTO promises technical support to Belarus on joining
The Belarusian Representative in the UN Yuri Ambrazevich met with Director-General of the World Trade Organization Roberto Azevêdo on October 30, 2015 in Geneva.
They discussed the negotiations on Belarus’ participation in WTO activities and world trade tendencies. The two sides agreed that it was necessary to enhance Belarus’ integration into the WTO and to increase the technical assistance to Belarus on behalf of the Organization secretariat, the MFA press service reports.
Yury Abramovich also met with High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein. They discussed the prospects of expanding Belarus’s cooperation with Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights.
