20% of Belarus state companies unprofitable
In January-September 2015, Belarus had 1,572 loss-making organizations or 19.9% of the total number of organizations. The amount of the net loss of these companies during this period amounted to 27.1 trillion rubles, which is three times more than in January-September 2014.
For comparison - in the first seven months of last year unprofitable were 1,038 companies or 13.2%.
It should be noted that in September losses reduced to 7,614 trillion rubles, after rising 2.3 times in August when there was another round of devaluation.
The net loss for every same organization in September fell from 20,336 billion to 17.239 billion rubles, afn.by reports referring to the National Statistics Committee.
The biggest share of loss-making enterprises is still in the field of fisheries and fish farming - 50% of the total. In industry, the share of unprofitable enterprises is 31.8%, followed by hotels and restaurants - 24.4%, in trade, repair of motor vehicles, household goods and personal items the share of unprofitable enterprises reached 23.3% and in the construction - 20%.
