5 Belarusians evacuated from Libya by Ukraine's Ministry of Defense
5 Belarusian citizens have been evacuated from Libya on a plane of the Ukraine's Ministry of Defense in the evening on February 26.
The press-center of Ukraine's Ministry of Internal Affairs has informed that an IL-76 plane departed from Tripoli to Kyiv at 22.00 Kyiv time (which is the same as in Minsk). 185 people were on its board, including 122 Ukrainian citizens, and 63 people from other countries, mostly the former Soviet republics.
According to the preliminary information, more than a hundred Belarusian citizens were in Lybya at the beginning of the conflict escalation, BelaPAN informs with a reference to the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
