One year of penal labour without imprisonment – this is the sentence pronounced to designer Andrei Byalyauski in Minsk Lenin District Court on January 12. He stood trial because of a service cartridge found by policemen during a search in his flat.
Byalyauski was detained during the investigation of ‘the White Legion case’ in March 2017 and spent 2.5 months in jail. A cartridge he was keeping as a souvenir was found in his flat during a search.
Byalyauski plead guilty in court in January 11.
