Deputy Prosecutor General Aliaksei Stuk personally helped to restore order in the cowshed of the Urytskaye cattle farm in the Homiel region, the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reports.
Earlier, this farm was taken under control by the prosecutor's office of Homiel district and Homiel region. Probably, they failed. Employees of the Prosecutor's Office were last on the farm in the beginning of August 2023. The Deputy Prosecutor General arrived there at the beginning of September and stated that nothing had changed in the cowshed for a month.
According to him, only "a small part of the omissions and shortcomings discovered since the last visit" had been corrected. In particular, violations of technology and feeding regimes were again found. Calves between two and six months old were found to be emaciated. They also had no bedding. Drinking troughs were faulty - resulting in animal pens that were "waterlogged and filled with organic matter". Veterinary medicines were improperly stored.
The deputy prosecutor even threatened the farm workers: "Speaking to the workers of Urytskaye cattle farm, Aliaksei Stuk reminded that each manager and employee of the enterprise is personally responsible for the preservation of livestock. He emphasized the importance of strict observance of veterinary and sanitary standards in keeping and feeding young cattle. He refreshed the knowledge of farm workers in the sphere of production and service discipline, as well as responsibility for its violation".
"Sh*t-covered cows" was a topic Lukashenka talked about in 2019.
