Belarus foreign debt reaches 12.7 billion dollars

External public debt of Belarus has reached 12.7 billion dollars. Since the beginning of 2015, it has increased by 0.8%, or by 101 million dollars, the press service of the Belarus Finance Ministry reports.
As of July 1, 2015, the national debt of Belarus amounted to 249.8 trillion of rubles. It increased compared with the beginning of the year by 52.4 trillion rubles (26.5%).
It is reported that in January-June this year Belarus attracted foreign government loans amounting to 679.1 million dollars, including from the government and the Bank of Russia almost $430 million, from banks in China almost $229 million.
The repayment of external public debt since the beginning of 2015 amounted to 547.8 million dollars.
