Belarus GDP drops 3.3%
GDP down against the same period in 2014.
In January-June of 2015, the gross domestic product decreased by 3.3% compared to the same period in 2014. It used to be 404.5 trillion rubles, the National Statistical Committee reports.
The volume of industrial production in the first half of the year amounted to 353.15 trillion rubles. This is 92.6% of the last year's figure. According to the National Statistics Committee, this year the agricultural production has increased 2.7% (up to 42.12 trillion rubles).
According to the forecast of Belarus socio-economic development, growth this year should reach 0.2-0.7%. According to Interfax-Zapad, a month ago, the Economic Minister Uladzimir Zinousky said that this year Belarus expects to maintain gross domestic product at the last year's level.
