Belarus Interior Ministry sets refugee quota for 2016
The Interior Ministry has set the registration quotas for applications for refugee status or subsidiary protection in 2016. The relevant rules were laid out in the ministerial decree of 28 December 2015.
According to the document, this year the Brest region is ready to accept petitions from 200 potential refugees, for the Vitsebsk and Homiel region quota is 250 people, for Hrodna - 150, for the Minsk and Mahiliou - 175 people, BelTA reports.
