Belarus will receive 7 million euros from the European Union for a special project to fight illegal migration, reports the state TV channel ONT.
The number of illegal migrants detained at the Belarus-EU border this year grew 30% against the previous year. The major part of the grant will be spent to construct two centers for migrants in Lida and Navapolack, in western and northern Belarus.
