The Office of Belarus' Prosecutor General has announced about law violations when quadcopters and drones are used in the country's air space.
According to Prosecutor General's Office, the number of unauthorized drone flights has increased. Just in the second half of 2017, drones carried out 8 flights in the no-fly zone over the Belarusian nuclear power plant in the Hrodna region.
Prosecutor General's Office has requested the Ministry of Internal Affairs to take necessary measures to identify persons who violate the procedures that regulate the use of air space.
A similar request was forwarded to Aviation Department at the Ministry of Transport and Communication. Prosecutor General's Office notes that owners and users of aerial vehicles are not sufficiently informed about the list of non-fly zones in Belarus. It proposes to expedite the development of flight rules and procedures for unmanned aerial vehicles (aerial models).
