Belarusian tax inspectors apologize to Gazprom
Gazprom was included on the Belarusian list of debtors by mistake. The Ministry of Taxation has officially apologized to the company. Minsk Province Tax Inspectorate is to blame for the incident.
"This mistake was quickly corrected on the website of the Ministry of Taxation of the Republic of Belarus. We are hoping that the incident has not done damage to the taxpayer’s business reputation,” the website of the Ministry reports.
Gazprom was added on the Belarusian list of budget debtors. It was announced that the Russian company was the main non-state company owing money to the Belarusian budget as of March 1, 2016.
