Belarusians to buy currency at stock exchange in 2018
Starting from 2018, Belarusians will be able to buy currency at the exchange, said in an interview with BelaPAN chairman of the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange Andrei Aukhimenia. According to him, next year, it is planned to develop a relevant regulatory framework in Belarus. It will allow individuals to get involved in currency trading on the stock exchange.
Auhimenia noted that the stock market can be a real alternative for the population. As you know, today, Belarusians buy and sell currencies primarily through currency exchange offices.
On 21 March, 2016, the right to buy and sell currency, not only in banks but also in the stock market were granted to legal persons in Belarus. Andrei Aukhimenia said that this is another step in the direction of our country's foreign exchange market liberalization.
