Belarusians vote from abroad: Lukashenka gets 77.2%, Karatkevich – 14.7%
CEC chairperson Lidziya Yarmoshyna has shared the results with Euroradio.
Yarmoshyna: “157 people have voted for Haidukevich (1.62%), 1431 – for Karatkevich (14.73%), 7509 – for Lukashenka (77.29%) and 91 – for Ulahovich (0.94%).”
According to the Central Election Commission, Alyaksandr Lukashenka got 83.49% of the vote, Tatstsyana Karatkevich – 4.42%, Syarhei Haidukevich – 3.32%, Mikalai Ulahovich – 1.67% and 6.4% chose none of the above.
11 545 Belarusians live abroad but only 9715 voted, the CEC reports. 2834 of them (29.17%) voted early.
